Our New Project! This is my birthday present Mark gave me this January. He gutted the up stairs bathroom down to the stubs. Bath tub, sink everything is gone. The tub tile leaked into the laundry room. Also every time the kids took a shower it leaked downstairs into the hall/ We banned all kid from taking a bath or shower up stairs. We thought they were some how leaving the shower curtain open or getting/dumping water down the heater vent which was located right next to the bathtub on the left side. I hated that heater vent do you know how hard it is to bathe kids with a heater vent in the way. Mark fixed the heater vent so it is off the floor for me yeah! Come to find out when mark redid the plumbing he found the drain stack plug was leaking . It was not the kids after all. He had to call in the pro's for this one. The plumber had it fixed in five minutes flat with a plumbers trick for older houses. Mark thought I am way over my head I can not replace the drain stack. The plumber did it easy peasy thank goodness we had the right idea to call plumber. No bath tub! Mark has put in a new Jet tub so he can soak those knees.
Mark took the girls out to the new Brigham Temple sight and took some pictures with them for fun. I am a visual peson I just like looking at the pics. My cute my girls. Oh ands I think their dad is cute too! Meg had the camera this time. I like this one she took of Sariah and Mark walking kinda cute!
Collin went to the district Eagle court of Honor Dinner this week for the boys who earned their Eagle in 2010. The Brigham city Mayor, Mayor Fife spoke to the boys.
Collin receiving a congratulations from a Utah state Representative. It was a nice time spent with Collin and talking about his eagle project. Collin is growing up so fast I can't believe he will be 16 in a a little over a month. He is not interested in driving yet thank goodness! He may take drivers ed this summer. We are trying to convince him so he can take as slow as he wants earning his learners permit hours. He has part of his mom's personality. It is either right or wrong no gray for this kid. He is a good example to his younger siblings. He is very shy around girls like his dad was at this age. No worries about dating with this one. We are trying to prep him a year in advance to ask a girl to go to prom next year. We are proud of Collin. He is a great kid we are lucky to have him in our family.
It is time to do a quick catch up again. Meg had a great 6th birthday Jan 30th. She loves her Pillow pet lady bug daddy got her.(Darn blog made the picture crooked) Meg's messy artsist pallet cake, below. Meg is growing tall like her daddy. She loves to color cut, glue and staple. She is a smart girl who does well in her reading at school. She is a lot like her mother. My mom always said some day you will have one like you! Oh to true! I just shake my head and pick my battles with this one. We sure love her tons!
